My Story
Hello, I’m Erika!
My journey to design started on a film set, evolved in a law firm, and eventually landed in the world of UX/UI.
With a background in trademark law, I don’t just design logos; I understand their strategic and legal weight. With a background in film, I don’t just create visuals; I build narratives.
What I bring to the table:
Versatility: Design experience ranging from Y-Combinator tech startups to statewide education non-profits.
Precision UX: A mission to eliminate "outdated software" friction through clean, modern, and high-functioning interfaces.
Diverse Perspective: A half-Japanese, half-American heritage that values inclusive, global-minded design.
Based in Utah, I spend my free time in the mountains or in my studio practicing pottery. I’m a chronic DIY-er, a "bunny mom," and a designer dedicated to turning complex problems into beautiful, functional solutions.
Let’s build something meaningful together.
